I should mention, formally, that I do not acknowledge that Google has the right to infringe on my copyright or privacy. I own the sole copyright to my work on this blog and on any other blog online. That is the first thing.
The second thing is that Google crossed a line with their new "privacy" policy, and as of the last day of February, 2012, this blog will no longer be in use by me. If I access it, I am agreeing to their "privacy" policy, and I do not agree to it. So this will be the last entry here. I am none too pleased about this, but hey, ya gotta do what ya gotta do. I'm not deleting it completely because I like to leave signposts on my road to ruin.

Yeah, that's right. Tumblr. I mocked them for their silly name, and the missing E, now watch me use their micro-blogging platform anyhow, at least until I get wind that they too intend to violate my privacy, or contribute money to CPAC.
Which is the last comment I have to make. Google contributed about $20,000.00 to CPAC which, in case you don't know, used to be a conservative strategic meeting held in Washington on a semi regular basis, and now is an ultra-right-wing, racist, religious, sexist extravaganza featuring such scintillating seminars as: "How Multiculturalism is Destroying America". Because, you know, that's the fucking problem with America. Multiculturalism. Of course!
And Google, they of the motto "Don't Be Evil", Google contributes to this shit. My business partner remarked on this to me. I had not heard. I said something that sounded a bit like "What the FUCK did you just say?" She repeated herself. I said "Holy Crap. Well, that's a sign, ain't it?" She said "I think so."
She has a much bigger issue than I do. I'm just moving. She has to transfer an entire blog of stuff elsewhere. I do not envy her. But in any case, I regret that this has to be. In fact I won't even be able to use my Google ID anymore to comment on other folks blogs if they don't allow anonymous comments, or... whatever. Sad. Also proof positive that Google has WAY too much reach.
We definitely need a new internet.
